Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are computerised and you will be given a request slip listing medication you can order without seeing a doctor.

You can order your prescription in a number of ways:

  • Telephone
  • In person at reception
  • Post, indicating on your repeat slip the items required. Please include a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
  • Arrangement with a local pharmacy who will order on your behalf.
  • Online via the link at the top of this page. Please note new users are required to register before using the system.

Please allow 48 working hours before collecting your prescription including those ordered online.

Electronic Prescription Service

We now have facilities to electronically transfer your prescription directly to the chemist meaning you do not have to make arrangements to collect the prescription from us.  Please ask at either reception or your local pharmacy if you think this service may be of interest to you.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
